I grew up between Northern Ireland and Scotland before settling in Belgium nearly twenty years ago. Living across cultures and languages gave me a sense of belonging everywhere — and a story without borders. With Antwerp’s diamond district on my doorstep, jewellery was always close at hand. Yet stepping inside often felt intimidating: the closed doors, the white gloves, the unspoken prices. And when it came to finding jewellery for myself or as gifts, the alternatives felt uninspired — stale designs, impersonal touches, or pieces that didn’t last.

I began to imagine a middle ground: jewellery that was affordable yet enduring, designed to be worn every day instead of being “saved for good.” Pieces that carried meaning, sparked conversations, and held unique sentiment. Most of all, I wanted collections that respected everything they touched — from the makers, to the environment, to the community.
