A note from our founder:

I grew up in a house with my grandparents, my mum, my brother and my uncle. My brother and I never ever went without at Christmas but I now see the exceptional financial burden everyone was under to get us that new bike or that Spectrum ZX. 

Now that I have my own brand, I’m mindful about the pressure to spend, especially during the holidays. So many messages urge us to buy more, as if that’s the key to happiness, but for many, these messages only add to the stress.

It took a year to develop LUCID and during that time I developed many pieces that I never went on to add to the boutique and, while I could sell these at a reduced price, my heart would be so full in offering these as unique gifts to someone who might otherwise go without.

I won’t share your story and I won’t mention where our gifts went. This is not a publicity, just a hope to help the community better. LUCID’s pledge to be a sustainable brand goes above the materials we use, we aspire to be a real source of good.
